Food Craving

Food craving refers to as an intense urge to have some specific food item. That specificity of the food items make the difference between hunger and food craving. Many studies on western culture shows that the craved food items are generally highly palatable as well as energy dense. Chocolate are found to be the most frequent craved food items reported by women.
Many research articles shows women are more likely to report craving than men. In a word there are  statistically significant gender bias on food craving.  Food craving is highly influenced on culture. Different cultures show different craving pattern such as intensity and the frequency of food craving. In a word we can say hormonal deficits are mainly responsible for food craving.
